The cornerstone and starting point for any exercise program at Long Drive Fitness is the assessment. The assessment consists of over 20 tests and screens measuring the golfer’s full body flexibility, balance, posture, strength, and power.
At the completion of the assessment, you will receive your results with an explanation of how each test is relevant to golf, known as the Body-Swing Connection. Additionally, you will be given a detailed prescribed program of corrective exercises to work on any deficiencies found in the assessment. The program is emailed to you and has both written and video instructions on how to perform each exercise.
A complete body fitness regimen that will focus on a player’s flexibility, balance, strength, and power. Golf Fitness training will target the areas identified in the Golf Fitness Assessment to restore mobility, improve stability, increase strength, and develop full body power that will help you avoid injuries and hit the ball father.
Golf Swing Assessment examines a player’s movement patterns throughout the golf swing. The assessment utilizes Dartfish™ video technology and analyzes the player’s stance, posture, stability, and balance during the swing. The swing assessment focuses on how efficiently a player is utilizing their body in their swing and will identify any movement patterns that can potentially lead to injury.
